I sent this Heart Chew Necklace to someone who is the hardest of chewers to see exactly how long this pendant could last under the strongest bite force. I asked her to aggressively abuse test it to see exactly how long it could last with a self-described “jaw of a pitbull.” She has a blog and wrote about her experiences testing this Heart Chew Necklace. I did not request the blog post, as I only wanted to make sure my personally engineered chew pendant could hold up to the strongest of chewers I designed it for. After 3 days of aggressive testing, the pendant looks like it was never chewed on.

My Heart Chew Necklace design also has custom made adjustable necklace strings. The manufacturer tried to talk me out of it, but I was insistent the breakaway necklace string had to be adjustable. They made it happen for me.

If the pendant is compromised or cord is broken, it becomes a choking hazard. Includes a breakaway clasp and cord which are small parts. The clasp is a safety feature designed to release under tension. The clasp and cord are NOT for chewing.
