Why the Store and Blog Moved Back Home
You may remember The Autistic Innovator on a shop. domain. The previous setup on the subdomain became a great risk to yours and my privacy. To protect both of our data from being forced into data harvesting to feed AI, I am now on a platform where I own the store, and no one can take both of our data safety away from us.
The Autistic Innovator began as an autism blog back in 2020. The autism blog The Autistic Innovator on autisticinnovator.com was online from October 2020 to December 21, 2021. The online store for autistic and neurodivergent adults launched on August 14,2021 on a shop.autisticinnovator.com domain. Both the blog and the store existed at the same time as 2 separate websites for 3.5 months.
This rebirth of The Autistic Innovator is fueled by love, passion, determination, and to protect our Autistic, ADHD, and Neurodivergent community. While I am unable to protect us across other websites, I will not allow The Autistic Innovator to be harvested by anyone. I have taken my freedom back.

The Historical Mission
Long before I ever thought about selling products to anyone, I used The Autistic Innovator as a way to encourage self-acceptance, and provide education for our community.
2020: The Why
The autism, ADHD, and neurodivergent world was full of nothing but specialists, TV shows, movies, and more, causing hurtful representation. Everywhere we got the message that our brain wiring and who we are was bad, leaving us in a never ending cycle of low self-esteem constantly reinforced by existing in the world.
Across the online autistic community, I saw our community hurting all over and I thought, “No one is helping us. Why won’t someone stand up for us?” Then I thought, “Why not me? Why don’t I help us?”
2020 to 2026: Focus on Education
I didn’t know everything in the beginning, but everything I learned about encouragement, self-acceptance, and education about everything from resources for us to in-depth safety education, I always wrote blog articles to share everything I just learned with our community.
2025: Becoming the Original Safety Education Store
In December 2025, I learned our own industry of products sold to us were filled with dangerous products marketed by neurotypicals who simply saw us as easy victims. This enraged me. I never get angry, but this truly made me angry.
So I wrote my first Chew Necklace Safety article to tell us the truth about everything. At this point in my 41 year life, even when I was a small child, I think I’ve never had the ability to lie. All that ever existed was the truth. I cannot even try to force myself to lie about something. This core honesty led to The Autistic Innovator becoming the original safety education store in December 2025.
The Core Mission
My mission to educate us, protect us, and encourage us, has never changed and has remained the core mission of The Autistic Innovator for over 5 years.
