The reviews system works much different than it used to on the original subdomain store website.
Review apps/plugins often require total data sharing with the developers servers. They harvest customer data to offer automatic reminder emails, Verified customer badges, add website trackers, and more.
What I use now syncs with no one, and lets me customize the review form for maximum data safety.
All I ask is for the reviews on products to be about the product only.
The form only requires a first name and your review. There is no give me your email on the form.
First name and the product being reviewed is enough for me to verify myself it’s real, without having to give all your data away to a data harvester for that Verified badge.
